New book by MN CBIG member Marilyn Brown

In another great news post, MN CBIG member Marilyn Brown has a new book that she illustrated that was released titled the "Christmas Pony". In this heartwarming story taking place in the late 1950s on a small Midwestern farm, Jack and his sister Kate experience the realities and wonderment of country life. When a pony is born, the kids are caught up in the excitement and the responsibilities of caring for their new foal. A mishap occurs, the situation is resolved, and a lesson is learned.  Beautifully written and illustrated, The Christmas Pony brings you back to a simpler era. With a timeless theme appealing to children of all ages, The Christmas Pony provides many surprises, wrapped in the magic of the holiday season.

Wanted to let everyone know that a little birdie told me that our very own member Marilyn Brown won a prize at the Minnesota Artists Association fall show at Colonial Church of Edina recently.  Congrats Marilyn!  Also, Marilyn will be having a new book released on December 6th so more information to come!  The juror for the show was David Feinberg, Professor of Art, University of Minnesota

New book by CBIG member Marilyn Brown
